Application Requirements for Various Nigerian Visas 

Eligibility
Transit Visa is available to citizens of all countries except ECOWAS Nationals who do not require visa to visit Nigeria and other countries which Nigeria has entered into visa abolition agreements.
Foreign Travelers wishing to enter Nigeria for onward destination outside the country.



BUSINESS VISA

- Valid Passport (Not less than six months validity)

- Visa application form

- One passport size photograph

- Copy of airline ticket, or flight itinerary

- Invitation letter from the host Company in Nigeria, accepting full financial and immigration responsibility as well as stating the purpose of the visit and period of stay.

- Letter of introduction from the applicant's Company or Organization.

- Non-Cuban passport holders must provide evidence of legalized residence (photocopy of residence permit)

- Processing fee of USD 100.00 per applicant, payable to the Embassy of Nigeria, Havana, Cuba.



TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT VISA

- Valid Passport (Not less than six months validity)

- Visa application form

- One passport size photograph

- Copy of airline ticket, or flight itinerary

- Copy of the Comptroller General of Immigration visa approval, with the applicant's name on it.

- Letter of introduction from the applicant's Company or Organization.

- Non-Cuban passport holders must provide evidence of legalized residence (photocopy of residence permit).

- Formal application from the host Company in Nigeria, attaching a copy of the work order indication and specifying the exact post to be occupied by the applicant.

- Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation from the host Company in Nigeria. 

- Processing fee of USD 100.00 per applicant, payable to the Embassy of Nigeria, Havana, Cuba.



TOURIST VISA

1. Letter of invitation and responsibility. 

2. Photocopy of data page of the international passport of the person who invites.

3. Applicant's international Passport, with a minimum of six months validity.

4. Photocopy of the applicant's passport data page.

5. Visa application form

6. A visa or passport photo

7. Flight itinerary

8. Cost of Visa: 84.00 USD

Note:

- The Visa will be valid for a period of three months from the date of issuance.

In case the applicant does not present a letter of invitation, he/she must present in its absence:

- A personal visa application letter. The letter should include the applicant's full name, passport numbers, home address, contact telephone number and reason for travel to Nigeria.

- Hotel reservation

- Submit bank statement certificate.




DOCUMENTS FOR PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE

- Copies of parent's passport (personal data page) or a valid ID must accompany the application.

- Copy of the minor's birth certificate.

- Notarized letter of consent co-signed by both parents.


STR VISA

- Valid Passport (Not less than six months validity).

- 2 completed visa application forms. 

- 2 copies of the contract of employment

- 2 copies of employment offer letters.

- 2 copies of acceptance of employment letters.

- 2 copies of resumes, degrees and certificates obtained. All documents officially translated into English. 

- Proof of legal residency from the Nigerian Company

- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation

-  Copy of Company Memorandum of Articles of Association from the Nigerian Company.

- Copy of the document showing the corporate details of the directors and their cut-off holding: (CAC forms 2 ad 7) from the Nigerian Company.

- Copy of the Commercial permit issued by the Ministry of interior (for Companies that have foreign shareholders).

- Copy of expatriation fees issued by the immigration Authorities.

- The documents should be arranged in 2 sets. Each set must include the documents mentioned above.

- Fee:  USD 250 (Two Hundred and Fifty US Dollars).

- Legalization of Documents: USD 10.00 per page.



Transit Visa Requirements

On Arrival
Passport valid for not less than 6 months with at least 2 blank visa pages for endorsement.
Two (2) recent passport sized (35/40mm) photograph.
Confirmed ticket of connecting flight within 48hrs
Evidence of sufficient funds

At Nigerian Missions
Passport valid for not less than 6 months with at least 2 blank visa pages for endorsement.
Two (2) recent passport sized (35/40mm) photograph.
Confirmed ticket to destination outside Nigeria.
Evidence of sufficient funds.

Validity
48hrs for Transit Visa obtained on Arrival
7 days Maximum period of stay for Transit Visa obtained at the Nigerian Mission.
Caution: Note that this Visa is not valid for employment.
